Most probably, the majority of you have never been to Russia in winter. Do you wonder how Russian beauties look on the streets of ordinary cities in their home country?

Russian street style in winter
To make the photographs I went to the central part of the city where I live (Ural region). I just walked down the main street and asked ladies if I could take some pictures of them. Most of them were happy to oblige. Just a few refused because they were without makeup.
Even in winter when it’s cold and chilly Russian ladies know how to look pretty.
It was the first girl I met. I was a bit worried to ask if I could take a picture of her but she agreed and wished me good luck.
This pretty lady was talking on the phone when I met her. She was very friendly and couldn’t stop smiling.
These two students were going to a meeting but were happy to stop and let me get a shot.
These girls were waiting for a bus.
Age is no a barrier for Russian ladies to looking lovely. The woman was going somewhere with her kids.
Doesn’t she look feminine?
This is how most students look in Russia. They wear jackets, jeans, big scarfs, headwear, and some gloves.
The brunette in the picture was carrying a big sports bag. Maybe she was on her way to a gym.
It was a pretty warm day by local standards, only -9°C (15°F). People in the streets were dressed lightly and felt relaxed. The previous 5 days were very cold (-30°C or -22°F on average).
This beautiful lady was walking with her kid and both of them were happy to smile for the camera.
The last woman I met was hurrying somewhere. It seemed as if the girl was going to a date. She felt a bit excited and was talking to a man!
It took me about an hour or two to go down the streets and make some photos. It’s very easy to meet a gorgeous lady in Russia. Besides, winter is the season when lots of them look especially feminine.
