Rare 1 kg gold coin valued at 50,000 tenge was issued in Kazakhstan, to commemorate an anniversary.

One kilogram gold coin is issued by the National Bank of Kazakhstan
The National Bank of Kazakhstan introduced into circulation coins commemorating the 5th anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Nur.kz reported.
The coins are issued in 3 denominations: Gold coins valued at 50,000 and 500 tenge, and silver coins with a value of 500 tenges.
The coin valued at 50 thousand tenges weighs 1 kilogram (2,2 lbs).
How much are the coins really worth?
It’s hard to predict what these special coins’ value is going to be, but they are not just for the show, the authorities informed. The coins are to be accepted at their value anywhere for transactions.
The averse bears the Kazakhstan’s coat of arms, around its periphery there words with the coin denomination and inscriptions (“Qazaqstan Respyblikasy” and “Republic of Kazakhstan”).
Additional lettering unveils the coin’s metal type as well as its assay certificate and weight.
The coin reverse features the EAEU emblem and specifies a year of coinage (2019).
A composition of ribbon ornaments and flags of participants surround EAEU emblem. The EAEU members are Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Belarus. The words “Eurasian Economic Union. 5 years” and their Kazakh translation are inscribed around the reverse periphery of the coin.
The commemorative coins are issued in limited edition and thus are mostly designed as collectible items.
They are sold complete with a souvenir packaging and the National Bank’s quality certificate in 3 languages: English, Kazakh, and Russian.
