After being known and reported on for so many years, you would think that men would wise up and stop using pay-per-letter sites with fake Ukrainian brides. But scammers are still taking men to cleaners, even as we are entering 2020.
Here is another comment that had arrived just recently.
“I have spent well over $10,000 without even realizing it”
I have been on Charmerly for months, talking to three girls, spent enough credits to get their personal contact, so I have their emails and try to write them all the time, but the excuses keep coming, bad internet, phone is broken, can’t send you any new photos.
BUT IF YOU GO TO THE SITE, WE CAN TALK THERE!!
HAhahaha. What a joke!
I have spent WELL over $10,000 without even realizing it.
I have seen the change, every month, the girl’s demeanour changes, she acts like we just met??!!
That’s because it’s a new GIRL taking over the chat.
I can tell because their mannerisms and words they use are different, it’s NOT the same girl, but the same photos.
I have over 500 screenshots showing the inconsistencies in all of this. I am fighting for a refund now, showing them they are CAUGHT and I am willing to bring it to the media but need to get it all organised.
I call them out all the time! I KNOW they are making money by asking for stickers and to look at photos, after awhile, you can SEE THE SCAM.
Most guys will give up after spending a few hundred dollars, but they can’t handle someone like me, who hangs around for months and demands more.
The scam isn’t made to last for months, it will break down after a while.
One girl I met actually told me that the site is a scam and she didn’t get her check!!!! All three girls I talk to tell me they love me forever, I’m a great guy, I’m the only one they talk to, etc.
I made fake profiles on the site and talked to them, they jumped right on me and told me they loved me too!!!!!
They have the same story for every guy. What made me mad was that they sent BETTER photos to the fake profile guy than the ones they sent me(( LOL
It’s a big game, can’t tell if the girls are real, some are I think because I have over 1000 photos of one girl, but another girl only sent me 5 or 6 pics and said her phone is broken, but she is a SUPERMODEL!!
What pretty girl do you know whose phone is broken??? No such thing!!
Conclusion???
A BIG SCAM, ALL OF IT. Nothing real if you are paying per minute.
I’m willing to discuss this with anyone and I have endless screenshots of PROOF. The money is GONE but I can still YELL about it and hopefully expose it.
The scam isn’t made to last for months, it will break down after a while.
How long will it take until the media catches up on this?
I thought that by 2020 we would be clear of PPL sites with pseudo-dating, but they seem to be a fixture on the international romance scene.
Well, apparently the guys who were duped keep talking about it, and the authorities keep disregarding the PPL industry, so they keep defrauding more men! These guys make more than any Nigerian scammers who are getting lots of bad rap and stories on current affairs programs. But PPL scammers seem to be untouchable.
Do some media moguls own shares in the corporate companies managing these brands? They are making good money, so it’s quite possible.
Too bad, because there are really lots of beautiful brides from Ukraine who are eager to find a good man, but the guys are spending all their money on fakes, while real girls get no interest on legitimate international dating sites.
What is your take on how long this industry of fake brides will survive for? Comment below!

We hear this all the time, but the websites are never named.
If it is, in fact, a scam, and the speaker was scammed, there is no legal action the website can take if he calls it what it is, “a scam.” Truth is a complete defense.
So what are the names of these websites?
While PPL may be easier to scam, other payment methods do not guarantee anything. If the intent is to cheat/scam, getting the money is the activity, not the manner of fraud.
Where is the guarantee?
There is none. ©2020
Doktor Thomas, the websites aren’t named for legal reasons. Elena’s Models had been sued by Anastasiadate in the past, which is quite an expensive exercise, particularly they tend to file lawsuits in the USA, and I am in Australia. Thus, no names of websites, although here is the list of PPL sites with names. If you are not a complete idiot, then you won’t be scammed on a general dating site: Talk to women on WhatsApp/Skype with video for a few weeks, discuss things that are important to you as well as some lifestyle questions about prices, customs etc, make… Read more »
Elena, I appreciate your trying to draw attention to this problem. I have also fallen victim to this type of scam, but I am trying to do something about it. I am reaching out to others with similar experiences as the poster in your article and myself. Is it possible to get information on who this was? I would also be interested in sharing with you my efforts in combating this, if you share with me some contact information on where I can reach you and your team.
Ndrtkr, I am a competitor in the field of international dating for PPL sites, so I am not participating in any such groups and it’s not my business. I am simply a business owner who runs an honest website, and there are plenty of giant conglomerates that run a dishonest business based on PPL schemes, the centre of which is employing agents and paying them commissions for the content. So, all my time I spend on educating our clients and running the business to ensure men and women can feel safe on Elenasmodels.com. I do my job running an honest… Read more »
Thank you very much for the reply. Yes, my own investigation has uncovered all this, and I have done exatly as you suggest, in contacting the media. Talks and discussions with them are ongoing now. I will encourage them to reach out to you for futher proof and detail.
Great job!
Elena, thank you. Of course I agree 100% with the PPL assessment…
So I wonder how a “fake” profiler can send me photos that appear to be selfies right from their personal phone both regular and sexy pics? Surely not 100% of the women on a site like Anastasia for example, are all fake? There are women on there who are not supermodels and have a variety of beauty levels, different jobs, etc
Tom W, the girls are on the take: They get 10% of earnings of their profiles. The messages are written by impersonators, girls simply don’t do anything but make 1-2 selfies a week (it’s part of her contract of employment with a marriage agency). They also attend dates if a man comes to visit (they are paid $10 per hour to do it, since you are paying $25 for the “translator” – your interpreter is usually the girl who was writing letters to you, so she knows what you talked about; alternatively, it can be the owner of the agency,… Read more »
I understand, thank you…..so when you are talking to them one on one on “live” video, they are real but still a fake relationship to string you along?
Tom W, if you are paying per message, there is no “relationship”. You are the client, you are paying to the website to provide you with an illusion of a relationship. Read the Terms of Use (which you probably just ticked without reading), it’s all there… they make sure you cannot sue them.
And yes, the girls do exist, but they are being paid to participate.
