But most people who register on dating sites (I can only talk about Elena’s Models here, since I do not monitor other websites, but I assume people behave similarly on all online portals for singles), apparently, just come there thinking they’d ‘give it a try’.
And, let me ask you that, what do you think all other people are supposed to be doing, while you are ‘trying’? Are they supposed to pursue you ‘all in’?
The funniest thing is to read in profiles of people things like, ‘I don’t believe in dating sites, but decided to give it a try…’

Women who register on Elenasmodels.com really want a partner. In fact, they don’t want to find a partner today; they wish to have found him yesterday.
It’s not the first place they are looking for a man to share life with. They took opportunities at home, used online dating sites for locals and didn’t get the result they were looking for. Usually the problem is that men are happy to meet but have no serious intentions to build a lasting union.
In other words, women who register on EM don’t have a problem to find a date. They have a goal to find a partner and this is where they can’t seem to succeed at home. Only because of that they are here.
And they don’t want to waste more time on men who are ‘trying’. They want someone who knows what he wants and is not shy to ask for it.

It may interest you to know that Nike’s motto, “Just Do It” was taken from a man who was about to be executed by firing squad. When asked if he had any last words his response was ” Lets do it”. The ad agency used this to come up with nikes Motto. True Story!

I agree with that opinion that woman has a goal to find a man and not just have fun on dating sites. Because all of this need a time, I mean conversations, dating etc. We are coming there to find that thing which we don’t have in real life and we don’t want to just waste our time for “trying men”.
I know even though I we’d been emailing or Skyping or messaging pretty much every day for over a month, my now-fiancee says she wasn’t completely sure I was serious until I mentioned that I’d really like to meet her in person if I went to Rome on vacation in a month or two — either her meeting me there or me spending a few days in Russia — and it was clear I really meant it (we ended up meeting elsewhere, but did spend a week in Rome a few months later, and a week in Russia last month).
Dave, it’s true: Women don’t feel that a man is serious until he starts talking about a personal meeting. Otherwise it’s only “an Internet romance” 😉
