Once we start talking about the age difference, opinions are always divided. Some people believe that age is just a number and others think that there is a reasonable as opposed to unreasonable gap in the dates of birth.

What do you think? Is a true May December romance the one where you move together through life from spring to winter?

I doubt that a 60+ years woman could find a 30-year-old husband. A woman with children in her 34 is willing to marry much older man because she needs support. It is not about love but about comfortable living.

Is the concept ‘Age is just a number’ only applicable to guys?

John: There are exceptions to any “rules”

It is the height of hubris and arrogance to make assumptions about their particular relationship as nothing more than oriented over comfortable living and not love.

I can sympathize with this man because although I am not 69, I have had no problem dating women who are 30 years my junior because they are attracted to extremely strong men with confidence. This include Hollywood starlets. I still search for the right woman, and I much prefer the family orientation of the Slavic lady’s mind over that of the American female of similar age.

As to your comment about a woman marrying a younger guy, I disagree. It is all about attitude and energy. Look at Elizabeth Taylor. Yes she has been married multiple times but she had no problem attracting much younger men. Why?

Because she exudes confidence and grace, charm and sophistication. Younger men who are attracted to older women can have a good relationship. I know of several people who have such relationships and have been successfully married for more than 20 years.

Many stereotypes of this age situation are being blown away as some people, it simply works for them.

What I want, is much like this man’s example. A woman who can keep up physically with me and desires a man with enough confidence that he is secure in himself and doesn’t become jealous every time someone talks to his girlfriend.

I don’t need to be jealous of such because the woman is with me because she wants to be. Not because she needs me.

If you doubt what I am saying and this man’s example in the story, then I suggest you get fit and start creating a life that a woman 20-30 years your junior would be see you as a king and choose you over other men.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and I only share as an example of my own life experiences.

Look closely at many of the 25-35 year old women’s profiles here. You will see often the ones that desire a very strong man in their life, have no problem with 20+ year age difference. There is a reason for that.
