Dating usually costs money. It’s true for both men and women. Both have some expenses connected with dating and courting a prospective partner. While men usually pay for dinners (it’s still frowned upon to ask for split bills), women spend a lot of money on clothes, shoes, hair salons, perfumes, skincare products, and cosmetics, trying to look their best for men.

If you are a man living in the United States, Europe, Australia, or some other country, it’s very easy to meet Ukrainian women. There are many websites offering introductions to ladies from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and other Eastern European countries, including Elena’s Models.
There are several factors to consider thinking about costs:
- Introductions (communicating online)
- First meeting (travel and accommodation to meet in person)
- Additional meetings, or her visiting you in your home country
- Obtaining a partner/finacee visa

Introduction

Certainly, there are websites that manage to bill their members for each mail they send or receive, or bill per-per-minute for chat and “video dates”, but you don’t need to entertain these. Any additional meetings should be costed in a similar way. Some couples decide to move in together after 2-3 weeks of communicating online, and then spending 5-14 days together at a holiday resort. Other couples take their time, talk online for 1-2 months, and then meet 2-3 times before they conclude they are ready to take it to the next level. Certainly, it’s a personal choice.
Obtaining a partner/fiancee visa
You can hire a lawyer, which will cost you 2-3 thousand dollars minimum, or you can file your paperwork yourself, and save. Government visa fees are listed on official immigration websites, usually they are under $500.
Relocation
This includes the price of tickets for her and her children, if she has any. Most Ukrainian women don’t have much stuff they want to bring across with them, so usually you won’t need to pay for cargo.
Total costs
Bear in mind that when you start dating women from Ukraine or Russia online, you don’t need to have $5,000 in the bank. Dating someone may work, or it may not. Initially, you only pay for membership to the site, which on Elena’s Models is as cheap as $99, which is certainly cheaper than dating women locally in the usual “dinner and movies” style. If things are looking up, and you have found the woman you like, the next stage only requires enough funds to cover the costs of your personal meeting. I see this is a really old thread, but Daniel, I’ve made 12-13 trips to Ukraine & Moldova over the past 11 years and I experienced similar situations. Like Rohan, I live on the other side of the planet from Ukraine (Alaska), so it is an expensive venture and can really “sting” a bit once you have went through that Daniel. I am not complaining, after my very first trip and experience; I now make a backup plan. Pick a city/country that you always wanted to see and if everything is a bust, see the sites 🙂
Exactly the same thing happens to me in UA and was stuck in Kiev alone for 6 days. That was horrible. Ukrainian women all they care about is money and nothing else even when I bought her many things from the mall she asked for cash too .. what’s going on Elena is the Ukrainian culture that you talk about ? . What country are you from? What about women there, would you say, “all they care about is money and nothing else”? Yes, if you pick a certain type of women, Ukrainian or not, there are some users. Stay away from users, and first of all, don’t try to use women yourself to get what you want. If you concentrate on helping the woman to achieve what she wants, your relationship will be trustworthy and wholesome. And stay away from PPL sites! 😉
Just force yourself on them they are used to it ,also Ukraine girls are quick to argue and threaten leaving but are always drawn back to the western money and lifestyle

Rohan, I am Russian and there is nothing wrong with Ukrainian women. All you need to do is talk to some Russian and Ukrainian women of your age (you don’t have to marry them), and ask questions (Platinum membership, for example, allows you to contact as many women as you want, why not take advantage of it and ask real people any questions you may have?) Differentiating between gold diggers and genuine women is easier than you think. If the female you find wont pay her fair share or contributes nothing at all – then move on. If a woman offers to pay “her share”, as you say, on a date, the guy will be insulted (it means she doesn’t think he is man enough). When women move and live internationally for some time (several years), they start acting more along the lines of western courting rituals. I want to add new facts about ukrainian income. A week ago we were officially proclaimed poorer than Zambia. Official income in Ukraine with current dollar price is 42$ a MONTH. here also you can see most annual info about it http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-03-02/the-15-most-miserable-economies-in-the-world So the sum of 800$ in this article is not realistic at all. This article delicately mentions the things you have to consider. In reality you have to have more than 5000$ in your bank account to actually make it work. I would add the cost of courting as well.
