In general, the majority of Russian women aren’t afraid of a larger age difference than is considered acceptable in western countries.
Russian women’s ideas about age difference
There are successful couples whose age difference is quite large: For example, Michael Douglas is 72 and Catherine Zeta Jones is 47, and they have been together for 19 years.
In some countries, marriages with a large age difference are even more widespread. For example, there are many Russian wives who are substantially younger than their husbands and have long lasting marriages.
- Andrei Konchalovsky and Julia Vysotskaya have the age difference of 36 years and married for 20 years (since 1998). He is 81 and she is 45.
- Oleg Tabakov and Marina Zudina had the age gap of 30 years and became involved in 1986, became parents of two kids. The pair stayed together until his death in 2018 at the age of 82.
In general, most women on Elenasmodels.com are quite open about the age difference up to 10 years, many will consider the gap up to 15 years.
In successful couples on Elena’s Models, the age difference on average is 8 years, according to our own research, although we don’t know about all the couples but only the ones who informed us about it.

Age differences: My wife Olga was from Moscow, and never married when I met her in May, 2000. We married in February of 2001 and were married for almost 18 years. I would call it a very successful marriage, and she often referred to me as her PERFECT HUSBAND, much to the surprise of my children. Olga was 19 years younger than me. I don’t believe there is a rule or a norm about age differences. There are too many other complicating factors. Using an age gap of 20 years, a man who is 45 and a woman who is 25 are probably at much different stages in their lives. A man who is 65 and a woman who is 45 might have much more in common. i am 54, still searching for my soulmate, and along the way have corresponded with and met Russian and Ukrainian women from late 40s to late 20s. I also had a brief encounter with a 25 year old who turned out to be a gold-digger looking for a sponsor. Any genuine relationship must first be based on attraction, sincerity and trust. Again, I agree with everything said. Age is an accelerating process. It’s on the verge of disturbing to see some old flatulent bag with a beautiful young woman.
And I would like to add one thing. The aging process can be slowed considerably and there are good sources of information on how to do this. So, I would say any guy that is with a woman over 20 years younger has responsibility to play his end on this by maintaining his youth as a primary focus in his life.
Many people say that the ideal difference is when a man is 8-10 years older than a woman. Maybe it does make sense but each couple should define the norm independently. In Russia people say “love all ages yield surrender ” and some of the examples given prove it perfectly
My mom and dad have 10 years difference, and they are happy. I am 23 now and men over 30 looks too old to me. But I believe in such marriages but not more than 15 years, because I think for such stories money is the reason. We always see it between media-stars, it doesn’t last long.
