A recent survey by WCIOM.ru showed that 55% of Russians do not support feminism, while only 31% support it, which is less than one third. Only 38% of people said that full equality of men and women is even possible. Among women this share is even lower: only 33%. In other words, only 1 in 3 females in Russia thinks that equality is possible.
The goal of a Russian girl is to get married, have a strong family and a be a good wife, supporting her husband. That’s her ideal of happiness in life. That’s how they are brought up.

Language is the guiding principle within a culture. Being able to speak the Russian language is important. We men wanting to share our lives with a Russian woman, we have homework to do.

I agree. I think that this situation with lack of men in Russia creates kind of a competition among women. And it relax Russian men too much unfortunately… And indeed there is lots of women in Russia who see their happiness in building a good family and some of them even manage to do a great career at the same time. well, russian wife is a good choice. but i think it doesnt matter what nationality you are because love is on the first place. im agree that russian girls can support very good. its in their blood. but all woomen need attention to themselves and if they dont get it they wont be with that man anyway
Dear Elena, you forgot just one important thing: Russian women are very caring. We love cooking and our house has to look always clean and cosy. As for me I would like to see my husband satisfied, neat and happy. And it depends on woman very much.

I quite agree with the points mentioned exept the fifth one. As the Internet imfluences our life more and more, young girls read about feminists views and start to support it. For example, I read the blog of Alexandra Mitroshina in the Instagram (she has more than 1 million subscribers). She is a feminist and writes about it a lot. Many girls share this point of view as we can see them commenting.
