Movie theatres had to close their doors as many other businesses, but nearly half of Russians are ready to buy movie tickets as soon as they can.
46% of Russian movie lovers will buy tickets to see films in theatres as soon as they can
Nearly half of Russian respondents (46%) expressed the wish to see movies on the big screen as soon as they are able to do it, TASS reported.
The online survey was conducted from 28 May to 1 June and is based on answers of over 11 thousand users of the portal for movie lovers.
In addition, 29% of respondents would like to see films on the big screen but prefer to wait a couple of months.
22% of movie-lovers don’t plan to go to theatres, as they feel watching films online is good enough.
The most awaited premiers are the new James Bond movie with Daniel Craig “No Time To Die” and “Black Widow” action blockbuster with Scarlett Johansson in the role of Natasha Romanoff.
According to the script, Natasha is trained by KGB to become its ultimate operative, but the breakdown of the USSR changes the plans of the spy department, making her a target for liquidation. She manages to escape and become a freelancer that’s hard to beat in her chosen vocation.
Other films that Russian moviegoers dream to see are “Wonder Woman 1984” with Gal Gadot, Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” and the third installment of the comedy spy series ” Kingsman”.
