Skoda is the most popular brand of cars sold in Ukraine. 46% of vehicles sold in the country in 2017 belong to this brand, Autocentre.ua reported. The popularity of this automotive brand is due to its cheap prices.
Kiev’s top-8 brands
However, Kiev has its own rating of bestsellers. 1/3 of cars in the country sold in Kiev.
In the capital of Ukraine the most in demand brand is Toyota. Renault is second and Skoda is third.

Skoda’s Rapid and Fabia models are also in the top-10 best sellers of 2017, as well as Renault’s Duster and Toyota’s RAV4 and Corolla.
The number of vehicles sold in the first three quarters of 2017 is 30% higher than for the same period of 2016. However, the share of luxury vehicles among them dropped by 20%.
European leaders
In Europe, the best selling model of 2017 is Volkswagen Golf. VW Polo is #2 and Renault Clio is #3.
