Starting from 1 July 2019 fees to get an international biometric passport that is required to travel to the countries of the European Union without a visa will increase, the State Migration Service announced.
Cost of a biometric passport to rise
The State Migration Service announced that on July 1, 2019, the prices of the service to get a biometric passport and the ID card will rise.
New prices for issuing an official document of the resident of Ukraine in the form of an identity card:
- 20 working days: 345 UAH (USD 13)
- 10 days: 471 UAH (USD 18)
To get a passport of Ukraine required for travelling internationally will also cost more.
- 20 working days: 682 UAH (USD 26)
- 7 days: 1034 UAH (USD 40)
The international passport can be issued by any unit of the Department of Immigration, regardless of the place of residence of the applicant.
When issued for the first time, the ID card can be obtained only at the local department where the person resides permanently.
