Top Russian bloggers earn millions of US dollars through their YouTube channels, a recent Forbes rating revealed.

Channels for Russian audience bring their creators steady incomes in US dollars. Over 2 billion people watch YouTube videos all over the world, and while the Russian sector is just a small drop in this giant ocean of video content, the creators manage to attract enough views and advertising revenue.
1.Labelcom (4.5 million subscribers), featuring several regular comedy shows from TNT channel, earned USD 3.55 million in advertising revenue from YouTube.
2.Wylsacom (9.6 million subscribers), a technology review channel screated by Valentin Petukhov in 2011, scored just a little less: $3.41 million.
3.Chicken Curry (2.5 million subscribers) is another comedy channel by Alexander Gudkov, which earned $1.13 million. The show makes celebrities to post controversial and often politically incorrect comments on Instagram, which got some of the famous participants in trouble and they lost their advertising contracts.
4. vDud (8.2 million subscribers) created by Yuri Dud earned $980,000. His videos had been viewed over billion times on YouTube. Yuri interviews various celebrities and politicians.
5. Lapenko by comedian Anton Lapenko (2.8 million subscribers) earned the same amount, $980,000.

7. Dima Gordey (5.5 million subscribers) blogs about cars. The channel brough $850,000 in advertising revenue.
8. Kseniya Sobchak (1.8 million subscribers) earned $840,000 doing reviews of news and interviews with celebrities. Her channel is one of the most recent but already very popular.
9. Dima Maslennikov (8.6 million subscribers) earned $780,000 getting into ghostly places where people don’t dare to go.
10. AcedemeG (4.8 million subscribers) by Konstantin Zalutskij earned $660,000 on auto reviews and tuning cars.
11. Irina Shikhman earned on her channel “A Pogovorit?” (1.4 million subscribers) around $650,000 interviewing celebrities and politicians.
12. Sobolev (5.2 million subscribers) by Nikolay Sobolev discusses current affairs and events.
13. SmotraTV (4 million subscibers) by Erik Davydovish scored $510,000 in revenue. The channel posts content about cars.
14. HiMan (15.1 million subscribers) by Andrei Shirgin scored $490,000 in revenue by setting various challenges and filming them.
15. Morgenshtern (8.2 million subscribers) scored $470,000. He is a rapper who started with parodying other rappers.
Many young Russians start their blogging careers and start earning more than their parents before turning 18. Social media allows people to score big time through their creativity and hard work.
Some Russian women who married foreigners they met on Elenasmodels.com started their own blogs on Instagram and YouTube and many of them score hundreds of thousands of subscribers. Online media platforms are going to become more popular in the future, experts predict.
