2019 rating of world’s best airports
Every year thousands of international travellers rate their experiences in the poll by Skytrax.
For the seventh consecutive year, Singapore’s Changi scored the top honours as the World’s Best Airport.
Haneda (Tokyo) and Incheon (Seoul) swapped places in the 2019 rating, placed as #2 and #3 respectively.
Doha Hamad (Quatar) and Hong Kong (China) also swapped places as #4 and #5, and so did Nagoya and Munich as #6 and #7. London’s Heathrow maintained its place as #8.
Narita International (Tokyo, Japan) jumped two positions from #11 to #9, while Zurich dropped one line below, from #9 to #10.

How did Russia score in the rating of world’s best airports?
- Koltsovo in Yekaterinburg, Russia, was voted the best regional airport in Russia & CIS. It also scored #8 in the top-rated ports serving 5 to 10 million passengers a year.
- Kazan has the friendliest stuff in Russia.
- Sheremetyevo in Moscow didn’t get any awards, rated as #63 globally, but it still outperformed Los Angeles (71) and New Yorks’ JFK (74). Sheremetyevo improved its position, jumping 5 lines up from #68 in 2018.
- Moscow’s Domodedovo was rated as #80, while Boston’s Logan scored #81. Domodedovo dropped down 6 positions.

Completely agree! No wonder Moscow rating is so bad! Because staff over there is rude and obnoxious! Not keen to help internet tourists! Zero English language skills! I am sorry with this attitude you will get no where! I think its similar to other Eastern European countries!
