Let’s start from the less obvious facts and get to really tricky ones, plus the dating tips how to pick the right action in a relationship with a Ukrainian lady.
1. You need to bring flowers to a date with a Ukrainian woman
Unless you bring a bunch of flowers, she won’t consider you a suitable admirer. A bunch of pretty blossoms is like your password to the second date with a Ukrainian woman. Even if she is not 100% sure that she likes you, she will give it a go and agree to meet for the second time, if you were a gentleman and brought her pretty flowers on the first date.
Yes, even if you have been talking online for weeks or months before you met in person for the first time, you still need to bring flowers — even more so. Without flowers, it’s not a proper courtship, in her eyes.
2. Best dressed — first in
If you want to make it easier for yourself in dating Ukrainian women, dress up. Ukrainian girls really love a man in a dress shirt, pants, jacket, and stylish shoes, GQ-style.
This may sound uncomfortable, but what it more uncomfortable — come to a date in comfy clothes and leave rejected, or dress up and leave with the lovely lady on your arm?
3. No kisses or hugs
Until such time that she is starting to touch you, hang on your arm, ask you to dance, and so on, don’t attempt to touch her in any way. Girls in Ukraine are really tired of guys who just want a quick lovemaking session, that’s it. Being slutty is a worst sin for a woman and she definitely won’t wish to be seen like this by a nice man like you, so she will definitely reject any advances to force intimacy quickly.
But if she starts hanging on you (and she will, give it time), then don’t be afraid to reciprocate.
Normally the first kiss is likely to happen on date #8. If nothing happens until then, don’t see it as a negative. It may be positive: She really likes you, so she wants to be seen as a “good girl” to ensure long-term prospects.
You will definitely have an easier time to get close and personal if you simply give it the proper time that is seen as acceptable before attempting any hugs or kisses.
4. You are encouraged to kiss her hand
Although you are not recommended to attempt hugs or kisses (even on the cheek), you are encouraged to kiss her hand when you meet or part, as a replacement for a handshake.
This courtesy gesture of kissing a woman’s hand is still used in Ukraine and it’s considered to be the sign of a perfect gentleman. Ukrainian women love it!
5. You have to pay the bill
There is no such thing as splitting the bill in Ukraine or everyone paying for oneself. The man who invited the lady to a date is required to pay the bill. If you do not wish to do it, don’t go to a restaurant.
If you go to a restaurant and do not pay the bill for both of you but ask her to pay her half, it will be your last date (and she still won’t pay the bill). It’s a custom in Ukraine to cover all the bills when the couple is dating.

6. Once you have sex, you are a couple
There are no questions of the type, “Are we officially dating?” if you had sex. The lady automatically assumes this is going to be serious and you are in a relationship now. This is why there are no casual kisses or hugs allowed in the beginning.
Is there casual sex in Ukraine? Of course, there is! But most women don’t intend this to be casual, the guy just tells her he is interested in her in a serious way, and she believes him. This is another reason why women are so cautious before becoming intimate: They are not allowed by local morals to have casual sex, and she doesn’t wish to have multiple partners, which may see her labelled as a ‘slut’. So, she needs to really test the guy and make sure he is really interested, before allowing any intimacy to happen.
7. If she sleeps with you quickly, that’s a bad sign
By the same token, if the girl sleeps with you quickly, it’s not a reason to be happy about it. Most likely, she simply doesn’t see you are a worthy prospect, or she would wish to be seen as a “good girl”.
8. A man is supposed to give the lady small gifts when dating
This, too, is a part of the dating protocol that demonstrates serious intentions. The gifts don’t have to be expensive: Perfumes, inexpensive silver and gold jewellery, clothes, shoes.
9. Not all women living in Ukraine are Ukrainians
There are a lot of Russians living in Ukraine, as well as representatives of other nationalities from the former Soviet Union. It’s always a good idea to enquire about her heritage instead of making assumptions about her nationality.
The reason why it’s important, there is a conflict between Russia and Ukraine at the moment, and you don’t know which country she supports politically in this situation.
The conflict started with Russia’s takeover of the Crimean peninsula, which was a large piece of land gifted to Ukraine during the Soviet times by cutting it off the Russian territory, on a directive from the government. Ukraine considers the territory ‘temporarily occupied’, while Russia claims it belonged to it always and the ‘gifting’ by the communist government was incorrect.
There is quite a sizeable support for the Russian side among people living on the territory of Ukraine, although even a stronger anti-Russian sentiment. If you don’t want politics to divide you, find out which side she supports. She definitely has picked the side; you just need to find out which one.
10. Taking a woman shopping is the sign of a real gentleman

Point 3 of this blog is a huge clash of cultures. In Australia (and I suspect other Western countries) if the woman you date does not kiss you – and I am just talking about a simple kiss goodnight at first, not passionate kissing or touch you (eg. hold your hand) – then that means in our country that the woman you are dating does not like you and you should look for someone else. I wonder if Ukrainian girls have been told this about Western men.

Actually in some situation you can use kisses on cheek if you aware.

Actualy for my opinion if a man wants to make a relationship with some woman it will be a big plus for him to make some presents ant to buy flowers of course, because it will rise up your candidature ih the eyes of the woman.
