The IT industry in Ukraine is the only one where workers earn wages comparable to western standards, and universities cannot keep up with training junior professionals. The recent rating of top-5000 fastest growing companies by Inc. magazine includes a few Ukrainian IT companies.

Ukrainian IT firms in top-5000 fastest growing companies list
The firms on the list aren’t in the top-100 but the presence of such companies from Ukraine on the list is great news.
As Finance.ua reported, there are some Ukrainian start-ups that made it into the rating by Inc.
- Innovecs with offices in Kiev and Nikolaev is at #1992, showing sales growth of 212% for the last 3 years.
- Altexsoft is #2020. The firm mostly works in creating software products for travel industry and has offices in Kharkiv, Lviv, and Kremenchug.
- AMC Bridge is at #3317. The company develops programs for design and manufacturing. The main office is in the USA, with offices in Dnipro, Khmelnitsky, Sumy, and Chernivtsi.
We recently reported that Ukraine has been dubbed the new India for IT development. The low wages in the country make living there cheap, while the quality of education is high enough to have specialists capable of creating world-class products.
While India became much more expensive to produce software in the last decade, Ukraine is only starting in the marketplace.
It is in the IT industry where Ukrainian programmers and developers are able to earn wages 5-10 times higher than the average in the country. The best thing, they are able to do it without leaving home and can still enjoy the affordable lifestyle.
