However, there is a way to talk about sex with Russian women, if done correctly.

In general, talking about sex with Russian women is not recommended, unless you know how to deal with it correctly. Dating customs in Russia view such conversations as a taboo in early stages, when you haven’t been sexual yet.

This is why just mentioning the word “sex” may sound like alarm bells to a woman when you have just started chatting.

However, there is a way to start a conversation like this.

1. Talk in general terms, not about her or yourself

Most Russian women love sex and enjoy it, but it’s not appropriate to talk about it, as it’s seen as “slutty”, and they ladies don’t want to be seen as such.

This is why the conversation should rather be in general terms, such as about “Russian women” or “Russian dating culture”, rather than about her or you personally.

2. Ask general questions about her culture first

You could ask her some questions about Russian culture in general or local customs. This will show the woman you are interested in her culture and respectful.

3. Then you can ask about stereotypes, whether they are true or not

Pick stereotypes about Russia, which you already know aren’t true. For instance, that “all Russians love drinking vodka” or “people in Russia don’t smile”. Mention these stereotypes and say you wonder how they had formed, because you can see it’s not true.

This will make the lady blush (if you talk on video at the time, you will probably notice it), but since you have been discussing stereotypes already, it’s in line with the topic. Don’t probe too deeply, just mention it and then stop talking, allowing the woman to express her views.

After that, act according to the situation.

• If she seems open and unembarrassed, you can ask more questions (remember to don’t ask personal questions, but rather refer to “Russian women”).
• If she seems highly embarrassed (her cheeks or neck and décolleté area have red spots), then change the subject to let the lady feel comfortable again. You can probably bring up this subject again in a couple of weeks, when she feels more comfortable with you and won’t think you are some kind of a weirdo. Mention the fact of your previous conversation and say that you changed topics because it looked like she wasn’t feeling comfortable discussing it. She may agree or deny it: If she agrees, ask why it makes her feel uncomfortable, and if she disagrees, then say you’d like to ask a question but don’t want to appear disrespectful. In any case, this may open up communication channels.

Just be sure to don’t dwell on it or look too keen on this one topic, as it surely won’t look good in ladies’ eyes. Remember, sex is still a taboo unless discussed between lovers, so be extremely respectful and delicate.

Even mature ladies feel shy to discuss this topic in detail, so much it’s still a forbidden theme in Russia. Magazines discuss it, but between partners or possible matches, it’s still not common.
