With the world growing increasingly closer, global dating became a trend that allows people to meet a match anywhere on the planet.
There are reliable and trustworthy dating sites like Elenasmodels.com specializing on connections of Ukrainian women with men from other countries, which have connected many happy international couples. But you may also have encountered ladies from this country on your local singles websites or apps.
What is the reason these beautiful girls seems to be desperate to chat with foreign men about love?
The real reason why so many pretty Ukrainian women are throwing themselves at foreign men on dating sites
The actual reason for that is not that pretty.
There is a big scam in Ukraine with pseudo-dating sites where males are paying for every message, which makes it extremely profitable to recruit men on local singles handouts.
This online scam industry is turning over quarter of a billion dollars a year, scamming thousands of unsuspecting males who think “a Ukrainian woman threw herself” at them. In reality, they are being fooled and spend thousands of dollars on fake communication with a set of cute pictures!

This is how it works
- Men are recruited on local dating sites: They get messages from a pretty girl who they think lives nearby.
- After exchanging a few messages she reveals she is in Ukraine, but by that time the guy is nearly in love!
- The next step: Her phone/computer is broken and she can only chat to him through a special dating site. On this site, the guy needs to pay for communication.
- All what happened before was only to get the man to that ‘pay-per-letter” site! Nothing was real before that and nothing will be real after that either. From that point on, the guy will have to pay to stay in touch with the object of his dreams. The charges may seem miniscule at first, but he could realize quickly, they accumulate to hundreds of dollars monthly.
- That’s the essence of the scam: Charging for fake communication. The woman isn’t interested in the guy, it’s a substitute or a hired writer that keeps him hooked with love confessions and sexy photos.
- The photos are provided by a real woman who is also getting commissions from the proceeds, but rarely writes to men under her own name. The reason is that talking under one’s own identity makes it too personal and harder to fake love and interest. But if it’s another person’s identity, then they feel detached: The writer isn’t feeling that bad about scamming an unsuspecting foreigner. They writers are also trained that it’s the foreigner’s own fault for wanting a woman who is too young for him: He is an idiot if believes that a gorgeous 20-year-old wants to be his wife, if he is 30 years older.
- The largest article of earnings for fake “brides” from Ukraine is gifts. Males are encouraged to send gifts for birthdays or important dates. This money is split between the dating site, the agency (the person who employs “brides” and “writers”), the writer and the bride. In other words, each person in the chain gets a percentage: The skilled writer who keeps the guy hooked, the woman who keeps providing her fresh pretty photos and videos, the agent who manages employees and replaces writers if they decide to give up (thus frequent changes in the style of communication that puzzle men), and the site itself that charges men’s credit cards. Because of so many levels of people involved, it’s hard to charge the site where guys pay with fraud, although they have purposefully organized the whole scheme.
Why do foreign men fall for that trick?
The new sexy photos and videos provided daily keep a male believing that it’s for real. The same photos and videos are sent to a few dozens or maybe even hundreds of guys who are told similar stories of love and affection.
The person on the other end answers his questions and even may get in touch on a video date once in a while. It could be a pre-recorded video where the writer lip-syncs some words, or they may even get the actual woman from photos to chat to him for a short time.
Because the woman is on the take and also getting commissions from the earnings of her profile, she is directly interested in getting the scam going for as long as possible, and the guy believing it is her who chats to him daily.
The only reason why this scam can operate is the guy paying for each message, photo, or video he gets through this pay-per-use pseudo-dating site. This allows to pay a share to the layers of employees and keeps the scheme going.
No one would be doing that if they were not being paid directly for communication.
Thus, if foreigners don’t want to be scammed, they need to stay away from any site that charges for each communication. Absolutely all of them operate the same way, by paying commissions to the content providers (agents), who is their turn are paying wages of “brides” and “writers”.
Just know: If you are contacted on a local dating site by a “Ukrainian girl” who then wants to you to move to the site where you need to pay for communication, it’s 100% a scam!
It’s not a pretty girl from photos, it’s an old grandma or pimply guy from the faculty of foreign languages who is trying to fool you with love confessions.
Give a “Ukrainian woman” who started chatting to you on a dating site your direct email address or WhatsApp number and simply talk there for free. If “she” doesn’t wish to do it, move on!
