Lowering the cost of utilities and getting higher wages and pensions are the things that citizens of Ukraine would like to see happening, according to a recent poll by the social research centre of Razumkov.
What Ukrainians see as the most important?

- Lowing tariffs for utilities, rates: 64.2%
- Raising pensions, salaries: 63%
- Improving access to free medical help and its quality: 35.5%
- Slowing down the rise in prices for goods and services: 29.9%
- Fighting corruption: 24.4%
- Finishing the armed conflict in the East: 21.7%
- Lowering the unemployment: 20%
- On time payment of pensions, social assistance (delays in payments may reach months): 17.8%
- Providing equality of everyone in the eyes of the law: 15.9%
- Improvement of the quality of roads: 13.3%

It’s apparent that low wages and high cost of utilities are the most pressing issues for regular Ukrainians. The difference in “the most important issues” and “things people worry about” is about 20% of votes, showing that people consider financial issues affecting them daily as the most significant.
