Experts questioned teachers about the factors contributing to a child’s development and later success in life and discovered that travel has a strong impact.

1500 educators took part in the survey, Segodnya.ua reported.

• 56% of respondents stated that travel has a direct impact on successes in studies and career.
• 53% of educators believe that taking trips away assists in understanding the school curriculum.
• 74% of teachers or 3 out of 4 agree that travelling improves self-development of the child.

Kids who have to leave their comfort zone often and need to adapt to new environments become better equipped to study and research on their own. They are more curious due to exposure to unknown things and phenomena.

Kids who travel often are also more tolerant, considerate, and responsive, teachers pointed out.

The results of the research were published on the website of the youth tourism SYTA in the USA.
