Documents required to apply
- The passport of the citizen of the Russian Federation.

The process
Once the application has been filed, paid for and processed, the applicant is invited to visit the department of MIA for an interview with the original documents. The officer verifies the documents, takes a photo, and gives an appointment to collect the passport.
The processing time is usually 1-3 months.
