A newlywed husband dumped his wife for looking dowdy without makeup. He said she misled him with an abundant makeup. The pair got married just a few days earlier after a half-year engagement.

Just a few days after the wedding, a 34-year-old Arab husband divorced his 28-year-old wife.
It turned out that the young man has never seen his sweetheart barefaced during their 6 months relationship.
After the girl’s true look was discovered, the husband realized she was not as pretty as he hoped.
Very disappointed, the guy said she deceived him by using large amounts of cosmetics and false eyelashes, Gulfnews.com reports.
The truth about the girl’s natural face was revealed when the young husband took his lady to the local beach Al Mamzar. The water removed her makeup and the guy was able to see his darling’s bare face for the first time.
Reportedly, the man was shocked because his spouse became unrecognizable. She wore false eyelashes and apparently done some plastic surgeries in the past.
The guy immediately divorced his wife, saying that their reunion was not possible.
The heartbroken woman told the story to a psychologist, trying to come to terms with the sudden ending of her marriage.
Earlier we reported about a husband who was so shocked seeing his newlywed wife without the usual cosmetics that he took her for a thief. The shocked spouse even filed charges with the court stating such ordeal left him psychologically damaged and requested USD $20,000 compensation for his emotional suffering.

So the point of the story is that, before you get married, you should take your girlfriend to the beach or swimming pool and pull her head under water (if her make-up doesn’t get off immediately, repeat a few times), that way you can see her without make-up… and she will probably think you’re a lunatic. 😉
Or you can just make her breakfast and bring it to her just before she wakes up. :p
This just shows how men focus on looks way too much. I think the man needs to balls removed, so he cannot produce another idiot like himself 🙂
I think the point is that looks matter. People will say it shouldn’t and that we should judge a person by more than looks, but it always has and always will play a role. A lot of the profiles have professional photo shoots but I look for pictures that are taken in everyday life showing the person as they normally appear. Then probably you shouldn’t seek a Russian or Ukrainian woman. Because they all enjoy going out, being social, fashion and dressing up. Russians and Ukrainians are in general more social and community-oriented than individualistic. You won’t find any Russian women who never want to go out or wouldn’t enjoy it. No need to look at photos in profiles trying to decipher personalities 🙂
Stick to American girls, they are more down to earth and many despise makeup.

From your comments you sound like an intelligent and educated man. But you appear to be scared to simply talk to women, whom you say you find attractive. I am not saying that I won’t go out and I believe compromise is important so that both people can do things they like. For me, I would rather go to a nice restaurant and maybe a play or movie than I would want to go to a nightclub or gala. Is not a new case, the same happened with a couple in China. But things were worse, the woman did so many plastic surgeries before meeting her husband that the poor man never had a chance to know what it was like before they met. Russians and Ukrainians (the ones living in their home countries) wear their wedding rings on the RIGHT hand. It’s usually a plain wedding band (sometimes with a small diamond) but not a diamond solitaire.

Elena how do I target women that are the least into makeup? I don’t think that any thing is wrong with make up. However I like it far better if women don’t use makeup. Just lipstick is not to bad. Henry, All Russian and Ukrainian girls are into makeup. They feel “naked” without it. Trying to find a young Ukrainian woman who doesn’t use makeup is a task similar to finding a Saudi woman eager to wear shorts and crop tops. Thanks Elena. Make up is not nearly that big of a deal to me. I live right in Canada and there is a very good reason why I’m not looking for women in Canada or USA. I would reather die single then live with an American woman even if she is my age. Makeup is nothing compared to why I’m not looking for women in north America.
