Is there a way to overcome dating problems?

Any problem can be resolved, in any situation. It’s just a matter of time and effort.

To overcome dating problems, think about it as a normal learning process.

1. First, realize that dating problems are normal. If you learn skiing, do you expect to be able to slalom down a tall mountain without ever falling down? Of course, not. Everyone had their fair share of frustrations trying to build a romantic relationship, from young teens to happily married grey-haired couples.
2. You cannot be right for everyone. And not everyone is right for you. It’s as simple as that. You are just learning how to figure out who is right for you and who is not.
3. Listen to your feelings. You may find yourself attracted to popular people when you are young. As you mature, you realize that your friends are attracted to different people than you are. This, too, is normal. Often your friends or family may give you wrong advice: They tell you what you “should” do but they would do something different, if they were in your situation. Research shows that mothers and family members are unconsciously drawn to approve partners that would improve their own life’s standards. In other words, a mother would rather approve a boring guy with a big bank balance than a handsome hunk. But if she was choosing a partner for herself, she would pick a hot guy. Listening to your friends or family may lead to dissatisfaction in love.
4. Learning skills like building rapport, effective communication, or even simply setting up your online dating profile to attract the right type of candidates would improve your relationship dynamics dramatically.
5. Fine tune. As an online dating coach, I have helped hundreds of people to build successful relationships. Sometimes a little “tune in” provides enormous difference.
