According to a recent review, Ukrainians with a degree get less than 77% of the average wage in the country, which reached 10,723 hrvynia (USD 424) in June 2019.

The average salary of 10,723 hrvynia (USD 424) is a dream for the majority of working Ukrainians who earn much less than that, according to a review published by Finance.ua based on recent official statistics data.
Having a degree definitely assists in being paid more than less educated workers, although it’s not enough to reach even the level of the average earnings in the country.
- People holding a bachelor degree earn on only 76.7% of the official average wage.
- Graduates of colleges (in Ukraine, only universities provide a degree): 72.1%
- People who finished trade schools: 62.6%
- High school graduates: 57.8%
- People who completed only Grade 9 or lower earn only 50% of the average salary.
Who earns the most?
- Sailors and pilots: 56,000 hrvynia ($2200)
- High level public servants, managers of state-owned companies: 24,700 hryvnia ($980). Some the top managers earn hundreds times more than that.
- IT specialists: 23,500 hryvnia ($930)
- Managers in companies of the communal services sector (electricity, gas, water), army ammunition: 21,500 hryvnia ($850)
Other professions where employees earn above average wages include police, security, private detectives, miners, and stone masons.

When in the so called “modern” countries have the practice/ injected desires (into young people/ their parents) to get a degree no matter what exactly, but be in school for a very long time no wonder the degrees worth less. Especially the ones which are worthless by base.
