Ukraine is in Europe. It is the largest country by its territory that lies in a whole within the geographical boundaries of the European continent. You can drive to Ukraine from many of European countries. Even the political slogan of the country is, “Ukraine is Europe”.

So, would you expect that Ukrainian women would be more open to marrying a man from Europe as opposed to America? Or is the land of Uncle Sam still holds enough attraction for Europeans as during the times of first settlers, to make ladies from Ukraine dream of America?

Would a Ukrainian woman rather marry a guy from Europe than someone from the USA?

Statistically, possibly yes. This means, if we have asked a thousand of ladies from Ukraine about marrying someone from Europe as opposed to America, it’s likely there would be more girls open to a union with someone from a country nearby as opposed to a place on the other side of the globe.

However, as we all know, there are lies, damned lies, and statistics.

The grass is always greener of the other side, as we all know, so places that are more exotic have that special charm.

There are also some opportunities there that do not exist within the European continent. For instance, tropical climate with no winters — for many Ukrainian girls it’s a dream!

Living by the sea at a tropical resort sounds like a lifelong holiday for someone who grew up in Kharkiv or Lviv. Vice versa, most of Europe has a similar climate to their own, and the places that are warmer still cannot offer year-long summers.

You may be also surprised, by living close to family is also not everybody’s dream. Some people wish to live away from their close and distant relatives, you may even know people like this yourself. Others simply seek more adventures or opportunities than the nearby lands can offer.
