The majority of Russians would ask for a tour around the world, if they could get it as a present, a recent online poll revealed.

Where do Russians wish to travel

Tutu.ru asked its users what kind of trip they would be thrilled to get as a present from Santa.

• A tour around the world is a dream for 1 in 5 Russians, given that they would be able to keep their jobs and not get fired while enjoying the vacation.
• 18% of people would pick a destination within Russia, such as Kamchatka, Lake Baikal, or Sakhalin in Russia’s Far East.
• 14% of respondents dream to travel to a tropical island paradise.
• The same share of respondents would love to get a chance to see “an expensive country” like Japan, Australia, or New Zealand.
• A trip around Europe is the wish of 13% of respondents.
• Surprisingly, a custom-designed tour got only 6% of devotees.

4% of survey participants would pick a trip to mountains, 3% wish to visit Northern Pole, and 2% of respondents are dreaming about an African safari.

Over 3,000 people provided answers to the survey.

Where to go if you want to meet a Russian girl?
