Russian women sleep worse than men and wake up at nights more often. But they see more dreams at night, a recent poll discovered.
Russian women sleep worse than men
In general, people in Russia are sleeping much worse than they used to. For instance, 65% of respondents said it was easy for them to fall asleep in 2013, but in 2020 only 53% of participants chose this option.
- In 2013, 59% of users said they were sleeping well without waking up, but in 2020 only 1 in 2 (50%) stated so.
- Even when people are waking up after a night sleep, there is a slight drop in quality (from 53% to 50%) among those who feel rested in the morning.
- In 2013 poll, 38% of respondents said they wake up in a good, lively mood, but in 2020 the share of such answers dropped to 34%.
On average, people in Russia doze for 7 hours per night.
According to WCIOM survey, women in Russia struggle with a good night’s sleep more than guys.
- 59% of males fall asleep easily vs. 47% of females.
- 59% of males do not wake up vs. 42% of females.
- 62% of males feel rested after a sleep vs. 46% of females.
However, Russian women see more dreams than the guys.
- 22% of ladies see dreams every nigh vs. 16% of gentlemen.
- 27% of ladies dream a few times a week, while among guys only 24% stated they do.
- Only 24% of females nearly never see dreams vs. 31% of males.
