It is a part of the social etiquette: In western countries, it would be weird if a guy states to a girl when inviting her to a date that he has serious intentions. But in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus it is the norm. Otherwise, a woman would feel it would be inappropriate for her to go on a date with a man. So, don’t hesitate to state it clearly that you wish to settle down, find a wife, have kids and get married. It will make you much more attractive for ladies from Russia and other post-USSR republics.
