People looking for their first job in Ukraine are offered most often monthly wages around 7-19 thousand hryvnia (USD 248-674).
First job seekers in Ukraine: How much can they get?
Ukraine has some of the lowest wages in Europe. According to Finance.ua, first job seekers wish for a pay check of around 10,000 hryvnia (USD 354).
Unexperienced workers and students may hope to score a position based on the skills they are learning. Positions for first timers also offer on job training.
Analysis of vacancies for workers without experience on Robota.ua showed that employers are willing to hire junior stuff and pay them wages of 7-19 thousand hryvnia.
- 7-11 thousand hryvnia ($248-390): 312 positions
- 11-15 thousand UAH ($390-532): 396 vacancies
- 15-19 thousand UAH ($532-674): 198 vacancies
Most jobs for junior staff are offered in retail (37%) and wholesale (19%), as well as manufacturing (18%). There are also a lot of positions available for students in IT (15%), fast moving consumer goods (11%).
Job seekers without experience are seeking vacancies in retail (24%), administration (22%), management (15%), and logistics (13%).
Wages in Ukraine are calculated monthly and paid twice a month.
