How much do Ukrainians pay for DUI?
According to Finance.ua, driving under influence in Ukraine may cost from 17-34 thousand hryvnia (USD 618-1,237) for the first violation to 51 thousand hryvnia (USD 1,856) for a consecutive breach.

There are 3 million more women in Ukraine than men (86 males for 100 females), but ladies own fewer cars. During the last decade it became more commonplace for ladies to own cars, although most Ukrainian women still don’t drive. People usually simply use public transport, including mini-buses that are called “routed taxi”. It allows to reach places fast enough and the cost is affordable. One ride costs 5-8 hryvnia, which is only 20-30 cents in USD.
If you are dating a lady and wish to bring her in your country where driving is essential, it would be a good idea for her to get a driver’s license at home (if she doesn’t own one), so she can use it after her arrival.
