You have successfully navigated the Valentine’s Day last week, now it’s time to prepare for the real test of your relationship — Women’s Day 8 March.
Flowers are compulsory on Women’s Day
8 March is much more like a day of flowers in Russia as compared to Valentine’s Day. On 14 February you can still get away with no flowers but some card and chocolates, but not on 8 March.
The International Women’s Day (that’s the official name of this celebration) requires a bouquet of pretty blossoms to be delivered to the lady of your heart.
If you take care of it now, you can still make it! But don’t delay for much longer. Flower delivery services are very busy at this time of the year and you can’t order it a couple of days before.
You know that Russian, Ukrainian girls are crazy about flowers, right? They believe that getting a bunch of roses or tulips from a guy means he considers her special and wants her to feel happy.
Not sure you are planning to send flowers internationally via sites like Interflora or Roses.ru?
