5 countries opened their borders for Ukrainian tourists from 1 July 2020: Turkey, Egypt, Albania, Montenegro, and Croatia.
Countries that accept tourists from Ukraine
- Turkey seems the most welcoming destination for travelers from most countries. Citizens of the USA as well as Ukrainians are welcome.
- Egypt opened its borders to Ukrainians, but people will have to go into 14-day quarantine on return home, because of the high number of cases of infection there.
- Albania allows travelers to enter, although it’s not your typical tourist destination.
- Croatia will allow entry if a hotel or guest accommodation is booked.
- Montenegro requires a negative test on virus that had been done in the last 48 hours.
Turkey and Egypt have already accepted the first tourists from Ukraine. Flights from Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, and Kyiv took the first travelers to their summer vacations. Flights to Albania are also already operating.
Other European countries haven’t allowed entry to Ukrainians as yet, KP.ua reported. However, workers with valid visas, as well as students can arrive.
The list of countries citizens of which are allowed to cross borders to European Union will be revised every two weeks.
Ukrainian women who are in relationships with men from the USA and Europe are already planning meetings in Turkey, that allows entry for visitors from most countries.
