Ukrainian men and women have different preferences in regard to spending Valentine’s Day: guys love the things women hate, and vice versa. There is only one activity both genders pick among top-5 favourites, KP.ua reported.

What Ukrainian men wish to do on Valentine’s Day

Here are the wishes of Ukrainian guys, in priority order:

1. Go to a restaurant: 43%
2. Cook a dinner together: 39%
3. Go to movies: 32%
4. Make love: 29%
5. Watch a movie at home: 12%

To destroy the day for a man, a lady should just do ‘nothing’. In other words, don’t even try anything at all.

Men also highly dislike trips out of town on this date (it’s freezing cold, no wonder!). Guys are also not big fans of going to a concert, theatre, or playing games (chess, Monopoly, etc.) at home.

Ukrainian men and women prefer to do different things on Valentine’s Day. The only thing they agree upon is cooking a dinner at home together!

What Ukrainian women wish to do on Valentine’s Day

Most ladies would prefer to spend time together (31%) as opposed to getting a gift (31%). But even more ladies would like to get both (49%).

The most desirable presents are flowers, jewellery, and perfumes.

Among undesirable gifts are sweets, erotic accessories, clothing, and greeting cards (most females don’t see a card as a gift, but don’t mind one, if it comes with the gift).

Ladies would prefer these activities on the day:

1. Ice skating or swimming in an indoor pool: 33%
2. Cook a dinner together: 19%
3. Go to a concert: 18%
4. Trip out of town: 17%
5. Take a romantic bath together: 16%

As you can see, men’s and women’s wishes are only the same on the part of cooking a dinner together! If you think of that, taking a romantic bath might lead to a lovemaking session, which is what guys wish for as well.

Ladies don’t want to watch movies at home, which is one of the top preferences for guys. Females also don’t like games on this date, which is the same as for the males.

But worst of all is when a guy does nothing! Definitely something to think about, right?
