Even during the times of the Soviet Union people from Russia were different from other nations, especially the republics that were predominantly Muslim before 1922, when the USSR was formed.

We are not talking about Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania that were absorbed by the USSR during WWII thanks to the temporary union with Nazi Germany (Russians dislike mentions of this fact). These three Baltic republics took off as soon as they could when the USSR collapsed. The three Baltic states became part of the European Union.

Let’s consider ladies from other republics of the former USSR. Of course, people are different and there are various personality types in every nation. But you’d agree that people living in Manhattan, NY, are quite different from those residing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There is a certain type how people living in an area behave and what things they enjoy.

Ukraine

At the same time, men in Russia are basically given free license by the society to play around on the basis “males are hunters by nature, it’s in their blood to try to hook up with every female”.

This is why Russian women are excited about relationships with men from other countries and particularly westerners. They feel more valued and appreciated, the relations are more honest and transparent.

Ladies from large cities of Russia are rather glamorous.

Russian ladies from large cities like Moscow or St. Petersburg tend to be rather glamorous and sophisticated. Ladies from smaller regional towns are more light-hearted and direct.

Ladies from Russia love seeing themselves as cultured and this is why nearly all of them state interest in theatre, arts, and museums. In reality, they don’t put too much effort in these things, but it’s considered appropriate to state such interest and attend events from time to time.

All in all, most people still get the most joy from spending time with family and friends, regardless of what they are doing. It is the company that counts!
