Right now on my Russian blog on Instagram we were discussing how to succeed on a dating site and ladies are complaining that they have sent 50 messages to men they liked and none of them responded positively.
“What am I doing wrong?” they ask.
Yes, it’s also not that easy for a girl to meet the right guy! You may find it frustrating when contacting ladies and not succeeding in building a relationship, but they are also trying and feeling discouraged. Is there a way they can make it easier on themselves? You can probably look at your own experience and point out the issues that you saw, which stopped you from starting an online conversation. Maybe, there was more than one thing that kept popping up.
Right now you have the chance to tell women what you want them to do and what they should be doing, so that you personally answer their messages or write to them.

I would respond better if the women wrote a more specific mail to me to demonstrate they actually read my profile. Often all I receive are mails like “Hi your profile looks interesting and I would like to start talking”. We appreciate that language can be a barrier so I would suggest once you find the profiles of men that meet your requirements, interests and other things get help to write a good mail with a bit more detail. Women tired to write special letter, becouse men don’t answer if he don’t like our profile. Why we will spend a lot of time if man will see photo before?! It is normal I think. To understand that he like my face, body and background and I will write good letter for him.
I agree with Billy, just like girls expect us to read their profiles and know a little about them, they should do the same and not begin with questions like what do you do for work…when it is clearly written on our profiles…and say something in the first email that will make the man choose you over all the other girls ie. what they believe is their special quality. Also, if you want to show a man you really consider him someone special include a nice photo, and one that is not already in your profile.
One thing that I see in a lot of profiles is… 1-2 photos, and a generic statement like “I am looking for a serious, kind gentleman, and we will be happy together.” Ladies, you are interviewing for a change for the rest of your life. You write that the profile is fully loaded, but there are girls who put their profile on different satyahs, as there are no results from some. And having already passed several sites, you no longer believe that you can open your soul on the next site.
To whom it may concern, At Least 1 or 2 of your photos should be honest ie not professionally taken, from about the waist up, front on, and smiling ie. showing teeth, and no sunglasses, baseball caps, and no filters, Also nothing obscuring half your face, as it just looks like your hiding something. I agree with most of this, but I do want to add, that I am getting an overwhelming amount of responses from ladies. This can be daunting and difficult to answer every one of them. It’s not that they need to do anything different to their profile, it is just a lot to take in all at one time. I would like to respond to something to Billy though. Well done, you started to learn a girl’s language. Men only want the girls to change, and themselves? step forward? We are learning your language since high school. I’m studying now, but in conversation I’m afraid to look ridiculous when I’m saying English.
In my opinion it has very little to do with what the woman writes or not. If the man is attracted he will answer no matter what. If he doesn’t answer it’s because he is not attracted. Upgrade your pictures! You DO NOT need professional photos necessarily, but I don’t want to see just one side (personality). Snaps with friends smiling. In fact most any shot smiling NATURALLY. I think that sometimes the Russian woman is waiting for the man to do everything and the western man does not know this. Elena explains this well in many articles. I would add that yes we know you are looking g for someone serious. But please do not expect a man to commit marriage and children to you based off a profile and some beautiful photos. I am very sorry for your meeting with scammers! I want to give advice from the heart because I lived 10 years in the USA and I know the difference in the cultures of Russians and Americans. Foreign men need to think a little more creatively in dealing with women from Russia or Ukraine. Life in the West is more relaxed and regulated which teaches people to rely on the law and the rules. Now there’s lots of beautiful women here at EM, so it’s amazing to me there’s a problem. Maybe it’s the guys. Immaturity, already married, window shopping, not serious. All kinds of reasons.

There are some useful comment for ladies here. I try to add my opinion: 1. There are tons of “picture profiles”. A sentence about a wish to find a caring, loving, kind gentle, etc… man as personal message. No description about her personality at all. A list of interest, which many times sounds: “Bring me there and pay the bill.” But there are several “makeup skill” pictures uploaded. I have a few thoughts… Firstly, having a single photograph automatically causes suspicion. Especially, if the only picture is a ‘glamour’ photograph, with clear ‘photoshopping.’ It is nice to have well-done pictures, but it hardly reveals what one looks like in everyday situations. If most weekends are hair up, in a messy bun, jeans, and flip-flops — with a stroller. Then post a cute image of that! Fill your profile out completely, it shows follow-through and engagement. The benefit of technology could be best used by ladies on the website to take a small 30second to one-minute max video. This would allow me to see them in a normal setting and create some feeling about that lady. It is difficult just looking at profiles and photos, sometimes boring but a video would make a huge difference. Some profiles have them and they are great no matter how short they are.
Mobile phones are so easy to use these days, to me this would be the best advice to women on EM.
