A recent survey by WCIOM found out how wishes and aspirations of Russians changed. Creating a happy family and raising good kids remains the one goal in life that 9 out of 10 Russians want to achieve and believe they can.
What do Russians aspire for?
Life is a long journey but a short ride. Certain goals that people strive to achieve make life meaningful. These goals and aspirations may be different dependent on the country where the person lives.
For people living in Russia, creating a happy family and raising good kids remains a top priority in life that they believe to be achievable.
Dreams are one thing, but things that people feel they can accomplish in their lifetime in a great extent determine what individuals really will be focusing their efforts on. If you think you cannot do it, why bother?
The monitoring began in 2008 with the latest WCIOM poll conducted at the end of 2020.
People were asked the question: “What would you like to achieve in your lifetime?”, but they also had to only list the things they believed to be achievable or the ones they have already achieved.
See which of these things you would like to accomplish in your lifetime (or have already done it) and then compare it with the answers given by Russian respondents.
