Women from Belarus would soon be able to access Europe at a cheaper price. The new agreement with the European Union that is due to be signed in 2020 would provide for a price of 35 Euro for a Schengen visa, as compared to 60 Euro at present time.
Cheaper Schengen visas for Belarus ladies
The agreement that would allow citizens of the Republic of Belarus to obtain visas to the countries of the European Union at a cheaper rate has been already duly signed. Now it needs to be ratified by the European Commission, according to Alexey Begun, the head of the department of citizenship and migration of the Ministry of Home Affairs of Belarus, KP.by reported.
The agreement also provides for a simpler way of getting a long-term visa allowing access to the countries of Schengen zone for 1, 2 and up to 5 years.
So, very soon Belarus women will be able to get a long-term permit to visit Europe any time they wish.
For instance, citizens of Ukraine are able to visit EU without visas since June 2017. It made contacts with European men much easier for Ukrainian girls.
Having the ability to apply for a long-term visitor permit isn’t quite the same as travelling visa-free, but it’s a step in the direction of simpler access to international trips for Belarusian citizens.
The travelers still need to satisfy all other entry requirements in accordance with the current regulations, i.e. the amount of fund to support themselves while in the country, return tickets, and a place to stay.
