70% of respondents stated that fixing a broken screen might cost $150, while in reality for models like iPhone Xs Max the price had soared to $329.
Other types of repairs also would also attract high fees. Fixing non-screen problems for the same model would take you back $599.
70% of people think cracked screen repairs cost less than $150, but the new iPhone Xs Max is priced at $329 to fix. Likewise, nearly half (46%) of smartphone owners think non-screen smartphone repairs cost $150 or less. In reality, fixing an iPhone Xs Max costs four times that amount, setting people back $599.
By the way, 27% of people who damaged the smartphone had it happening while the device was in case.
85% of users diligently purchase a case for the mobile, but it didn’t save them from the problems of accidental damage.
