Russians are highly superstitious, so it’s no wonder that the date of 19.09.19 created a buzz among couples planning to get hitched. According to KP.ru, 700 pairs decided to make it their wedding date in Moscow, Russia.
The day of three “9”
Not everyone was ready to tie the knot on special dates of the first dozen of the millennium when the day, the month, and the year were the same digit.
The mass nuptials in China on 08.08.08 were the most famous, when it was nearly impossible to schedule a ceremony because of too many pairs wanting to wed.
10.10.10 or 11.11.11 are wedding dates impossible to forget!
But not all the lovers were in a relationship back then, and new pairs also want some magic digits for a wedding date.
19.09.19 looks pretty close to a magical number that may bring good luck to the newlyweds.
28 registers of marriages in Moscow scheduled ceremonies on the day, to accommodate the demand. Normally only the large departments (“Palaces of Marriage Ceremonies”) are open on Thursdays, but because of the demand, the officials offered extra options to register a marriage on the day.
In 2018, a record low number of nuptials was registered in Russia, we reported earlier.
However, Russian numerologist Evgenia Belova warns about the desire to utilize a “pretty” combination of numbers without first consulting with a specialist. According to Belova, a pair that has a numerological incompatibility (did you know such thing existed? Neither did we) may only exacerbate problems by picking such a strong number.
Do you believe in numerology? Would you choose a date for your marriage ceremony because the digits look pretty?

I thought it stopped in 12.12.12. No magic in other dates (till the 2101). But no, people still try to find something mysterious in everything. Maybe it’s because of mentality. We always try to find the reason for happiness, to find a good omen . As for me, it doesn’t matter.
